Setup Okta Authentication

Access Agent Services at agent.societyinsurance.com. On the Agent Services login screen, enter your registered email and password and click SIGN IN. Follow this process.

  1. Enter your email and password and click SIGN IN.

2. On the set up multifactor authentication screen, click the setup BUTTON under Okta verify.

3. On the set up Okta verify screen, click the appropriate BUTTON to select your mobile device type.

4. After selecting your device type on the setup Okta verify screen, download Okta verify from your mobile app store. If you have an android device, you will download Okta verify from the google play store.

After downloading the Okta verify application or if you already had the application on your mobile device, click NEXT.

5. In the Okta verify application, when asked if you have a QR code, click YES. Scan the QR code on the setup Okta verify screen.

After scanning the QR code, your email and a six-digit code will display on your device in the Okta verify app. Click NEXT on the setup Okta verify screen on your computer to continue.

6. On the set up Okta verify screen, click the TEXT BOX and enter the code from the Okta verify app.

Confirm you are entering the code associated with your agent services login from Okta authenticator and click VERIFY to continue.

*If you are unable to scan the QR code and must enter a key manually, see step 6.

7. If you are unable to scan the QR code with your mobile device, click CAN’T SCAN. This will display a key which included alphanumeric characters.

8. On your mobile device, click ENTER KEY MANUALLY. Note enter key manually will appear on your mobile device on the same screen in which the QR code scan was attempted.

Once on the enter key screen on your mobile device, enter your account name. The account name used should mirror your email address used to log-in to your Society Insurance agent services profile.

Next enter the key shown on your computer. Click ADD ACCOUNT on your mobile device, then NEXT on your computer to continue.

9. After completing the Okta verify setup on the previous screens, you will be taken to the set up multifactor authentication screen.

Click FINISH to complete the initial multifactor Okta verify set up. Note you will be taken back to the sign in screen.

10. On the sign in screen, enter your email and password and click SIGN IN.


11. On the Okta verify screen, click the TEXT BOX and enter the code from the Okta verify app. To bypass authentication on the device for 7-days, click the CHECKBOX next to do not challenge me on this device for the next 7-days.

Note to ensure you are not challenged for 7-days, you must use the same browser and device upon sign-in. This is in addition to clicking the do not challenge checkbox.

Confirm you are entering the code associated with your agent services login from the Okta verify app.

Click VERIFY to continue to the agent services dashboard screen.
